Accumulated Slowness
Some processes unfold beyond our sense of time. A sweet potato does not grow before an impatient gaze. It gathers water, extends tiny, almost imperceptible roots, pushes against its skin, and reaches for the light at a pace that defies the urgency of our everyday lives. The video does not hasten its life or its strength; it simply sustains the gaze. The monitor transforms waiting into something visible, a space where observation becomes patience and time is no longer measured in minutes, but in new shoots. To pause here is to accept a different pace.
