Lautaro Reyes

Immersive Residency Program| June 2025
Social Media

Lautaro has delved into processes of exchange, listening, and interdisciplinary dialogue that have nourished his residency and opened up new lines of creation. During his stay, the artist has developed a rigorous and committed practice in the environment of Las Salinas del Curro, where body, voice, landscape, and memory converge in a hybrid territory that oscillates between the sonic and the performative. Lautaro Reyes has inhabited the environment through listening and care, establishing links with the rural, the oral, and the invisible, without falling into nostalgia or representation.

Lautaro’s work has generated a relationship with the territory based on active listening, respect, and transformation.

BIO

Lautaro Reyes is a performing artist who works with movement and choreography, exploring the body as a language that gives form to imagined landscapes. Guided by intuition, he creates sensory dialogues and seeks shared understandings between those who move and those who observe.

He trained at the Miguel Pizarro Cultural Center in Valparaíso, the International Chair of the National Ballet of Cuba in Havana, the Julio Bocca Studio in Buenos Aires, and IT Dansa at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. He has worked with choreographers Guido Sarli, Manuel Rodríguez, and Giorgia Nardin, and performed with Cobosmika Co and La Veronal in America, Europe, and Asia.

In 2021, he co-starred in El libro de Sicilia at the Centro Dramático Nacional, and he has assisted the creations of Elsa Mingot and Malen Iturri. He participated in Utopía Rambles (2022–2023) at the Santa Mònica Art Center and, from 2024 onward, is part of its Laboratori de Calle research group.

He founded Camaralucida in 2012, presenting works in venues such as Antic Teatre, Conde Duque, Sala Hiroshima, and Mercat de les Flors, and at festivals including Sismògraf, Dansat!, La jeune création européenne, DNA Romaeuropa, and Salmon.

He has taken part in Danceweb 14’ (Impulstanz Vienna), Brut Nature 18’ (La Caldera), and #FF90 19’ (Graner), where he is now an associate artist. In the 23/24 season, he is part of the En Rèsidencia program with La Poderosa, as well as the INprescindibles and CoCo research frameworks.
