The work developed on the poltry yards is a collective and interdisciplinary reflection about inhabiting a space. It opens a line of dialogue that reveals the historic layers of the area and brings into question the concept of architectural value from new perspectives.
In the thirteenth century these poltry yards were the houses of the castle’s workers. They later became a place for animal husbandry. The poltry yards represent a connection between different cultures and periods of time, they stand as a neuralgic point where territory and habitable spaces meet.
The team started its investigation rearranging objects and abandoned elements.
They reconfigured them to highlight the structure of the space and its original uses.

Parallel to their collective project, Ezequiel Manasseri, María Sol Depetris, Marianela Casado and Lucas Tibaldi develop their individual perspectives through different formats. Marianela has started an anthropological research that rises questions about the arabic origins of Blanca; Ezequiel and Sol have begun a series of photographs where they capture forgotten architectural elements around the Valley; and Lucas has developed a series of sculptures and small objects made by found objects and materials.
Some of these pieces are presented in this space, with the intention of understanding their collective project as the sum of their subjectivities and experiences of the territory.

Understanding the notion of place as an historical construction, this installation reflects upon the complex relationships between spaces and cultures, identity and power, negation and resistance.
A small sanctuary stands. In it the artists compile symbols of the values, habits and traditional knowledge that the inhabitants of Blanca have shared with them.
In addition to their installation, the artists perform an action in collaboration with Tamara Ascanio. Through it, they symbolize an offering and tribute to the coexistence of cultures in Blanca. The elements of the scene intend to expose a dual relationship with the soil, which is perceived for both cultures as generous and at the same time hard element.
Lucas Tibaldi / Architecture and Visual Art /Bombal, Argentina
Lucas Tibaldi lived his childhood in a town near the city called Bombal, located in Santa Fe. In 2017 he settled in Rosario where he studied Statistics for 5 years and in 2007 he began his studies as an architect in the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Design of the National University of Rosario, UNR.
At the same time, he began to investigate and train in visual arts. The first workshops he did were painting with Professor P. Silquiti (2007) and drawing with the Lic. in Fine Arts: V. Gómez Haid (2008-2009). In the following years he exhibited his first artistic productions individually and collectively, as well as he participated as a collaborator in the construction of sculptures by the artist Dante Taparelli. In 2017 he entered in the Municipal School of Plastic Arts Manuel Musto, where he attended art history workshops: Avant-garde of the 20th Century and Contemporary Art by Nancy Rojas and Silvia Ferrari.
In this same year and up to the present, he carried out a clinic for the work of the visual artist Mauro Guzmán, which allowed him to enter into the investigation of contemporary art. In 2017 he was selected to participate in a Workshop on MACRO coordinated by Leticia Obeid.
