In my practice, I explore sculptural, performative, and relational strategies to translate the experience of territory into art. I approach the body as an interface, fully exposed to the world that hosts and permeates us, engaging in a dialogue of reciprocal becoming with the places we inhabit, their materials, agents, inhabitants, and the climatic, telluric, and creative energies that animate them. I reinterpret ecosystem dynamics, processes of territorial transformation, and the vital forces of plant growth by cultivating interspecies alliances with companion species and collaborating agents such as insects, birds, plants, yeasts, lichens, and bacterial communities. As an artivist, much of my work unfolds in moments designed to awaken empathy, foster relational bonds, and invite collaboration. My practice also assumes a mediatory role within local community networks, cultivating co-evolutionary proposals that respond to local socio-environmental realities. Through actions, interventions, and processes of transformation, my work activates possibilities for change, bridging aesthetic experience, ecological awareness, and collective agency. Imagining and enacting a more just and life-centered world.

Marco Ranieri is an artivist, artistic mediator, and independent researcher. His work focuses on the relationships, tensions, and intersections between art, nature, and ecology. He centers his practice on transforming the experience of territory into art, engaging in dialogue and reciprocal becoming with the places we inhabit. His practice fosters collaboration, reflection, and engagement between communities, landscapes, and the multiple agents that inhabit them.
