His practice is triggered by the contemplation and exploration of nature and landscape. His work, composed of installations, live sets, light pieces, digital scenographies is the result of his curiosity and continuous research on the limits of material and virtual realities, nature and artifice, light and darkness.

Exploring a poetic-visual language, his pieces attempt to open up a moment and a timeframe where our sensorial perception leads us to reflect on and raise questions related to these binomials.

Nicolás sees the body as an extension of space and vice-versa. His practice begins with the observation of territory and temporal experience, exploring how processes of perception and visual memory affect the digital manifestation of image, space, and time.

As part of his latest experiments, in which organic and synthetic universes converge into poetic-prosthetic drifts, he will present a video- sculpture that puts into dialogue high-tech discarded materials, organic objects collected from the landscape and modular industrial structures.

Both Roisner and Nicolás will be collaborating again, in a series of A/V sets that will be shifting along the night.

BIO 

After a fruitful career working as an audiovisual designer, Nicolás shifted his practice to the media art field, focusing on projects that explore the interaction between time, space, video, light and sound.
