BIO 

Pablo Linsambarth lives and works between Santiago de Chile and Madrid. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from the University of Chile and is currently pursuing a PhD in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid. Linsambarth’s practice revolves around the anecdotal aspects of history or storytelling, which he uses as research material to develop images that reflect the political everyday life. In his work, art functions as a language in its own right, possessing codes and symbolisms inherent to its nature. He is particularly interested in the relationship and dialogue between the enigmatic and the timeless. Pictorial thinking is the main process driving his practice, materializing not only on canvas but also through ceramics, video, and installation.

His work has been presented in recent solo exhibitions at the Museum of Memory and Human Rights, Santiago de Chile (2024); the Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano (ICPNA), Lima, Peru (2024); El Apartamento Gallery, Madrid; and Galería Patricia Ready, Santiago de Chile (2023). Selected group exhibitions include the Buenos Aires Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA), Argentina; Centro Párraga, Murcia, Spain; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Santiago (MAC), Chile; Vigil Gonzáles Gallery, Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Galería D21, Santiago de Chile. His work is held in private and institutional collections such as the ArtNexus Collection and El Espacio 23, both in Miami, USA; the Il Posto Collection of m Solari del Sol, Santiago de Chile; the ICPNA Collection, Lima; the Kells Collection, Santander; the Aldebarán Collection, Madrid; and the Engel and Ca.Sa collections, both in Santiago de Chile. He has participated in art fairs including NADA New York and Miami, Zona MACO (Mexico), Untitled (Miami), and ARCOmadrid.
