ABOUT SALVA ALAMRE
After years of being part of DIY collectives, creating fanzines, organizing parties, and DJing, if there’s one thing we know Salva Alambre for, it’s for having been part of two of the most legendary bands of the Murcia scene: Electrowendy (in the 90s) and Los Alambres. Through several singles and two highly personal albums, Matemática ingenua (2018) and Electromagnetismo (2020), Salva Alambre has demonstrated his ability to articulate his own language, with each release more exciting than the last, as he seems to respond to new and unexpected rules of an intriguing conceptual game that is accountable to no one but himself. Well, pay attention, because now Salva Alambre is back with nothing less than a 21st-century vocal album: the sensational Más allá de lo razonable. With this album, Salva Alambre surpasses himself and raises the bar even higher. And that makes three, so let yourself be surprised, enjoy and share this album now, today, because we are in the presence of a musical marvel of our time, a unique work.
Aldarrax Editions is an experimental music and sound art label based in Blanca (Murcia, Spain). Its editorial line for this radio program, hosted by Radio Alhara, focuses on collective creation through improvisation, site-specific recordings, and sonic experimentation. The program invites artists connected to Aldarrax to engage in live sessions where spontaneous music emerges. These sessions are recorded, then edited into curated episodes that highlight raw, unpolished, and often unpredictable soundscapes. Emphasizing half-made music, the program celebrates process, transformation, and the ephemeral nature of sound. Field recordings, DIY instruments crafted from local materials, and explorations of rhythm, repetition, and trance-like states form the backbone of this editorial approach—resonating with peripheral, dissident, and ritualistic sonic practices.
