The video is a glimpse of Sarah’s ongoing research process and audiovisual exploration. It is a result of an encounter during an exploration walk in Nea Livera, where she began to create dialogues between her own body and different trees — each packed in its own specific way.

BIO

Sarah Rose Guitian Nederlof is an interdisciplinary artist from Madrid, currently living and working in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In the context of the Expanded Spaces residency, she is interested in exploring how a space affects our bodies —the way we move and create work. She will further elaborate and develop her current project (con tener) cuerpo in a new context. This project explores the notion of the female body as a container and what it means to have a body. She approaches these questions through bodily improvisations using costumes made of packaging materials.
