Cartographies is a program about promotion and networking aimed at those artists and researchers who have taken part in any of AADK Spain’s other activities. It fosters their mobility and presents their work in multiple formats that move beyond traditional exhibition spaces. Collective creation laboratories, lectures and academic papers are some of the possibilities.
Cartographies favors horizontal dynamics, since projects by artists with acknowledged trajectories and projects by emerging young artists are presented with equal interest.

Seeking to activate new cultural circuits, the program connects venues run on different management models. Thus, it aims at bridging traditional urban centers with other epicenters located in areas of less urbanization or less access to culture. In this way, the program reflects upon and makes visible the constant changes in the architecture of contemporary culture.
