Contemporary Practices

RESEARCH PROGRAM

Contemporary Practices is an annual gathering that reviews and questions the current models of contemporary art production. It is a frame for knowledge exchange in which collaboration networks are fostered. Each year, practitioners from different areas and different sectors – public, private and independent ones- are invited to join in a debate about sustainable practices. The program aims at delineating circuits that boost and connect new epicenters of artistic production.

The ecology
of art

The 5th edition of Contemporary Practices was conceived as a debate on how contemporary art platforms and institutions can advance towards greater sustainability, understanding that this not only includes economic aspects but also environmental ones and emotional/relational ones.
