The Presences of the Void.

Since Abraham came to Centro Negra in 2012, he has become obsessed with the void that inhabits the abandoned barnyards around the Centre.
In 2018 he inaugurated, along with the AADK team, Casa Jasmin, a space to investigate ways of inhabiting and extracting a piece from the voids of the area.
With this natural sculpture he continues his exploration of the elements that surround him in his daily life in Blanca.

In 2017, with the audiovisual work “La Pietat” he began with a chromatic series of elements that define the traditional culture of the Ricote Valley.
The yellow of the lemons and the blue of the working overalls of the farmers are the starting point to reflect on the transformations of the landscape and the adaptation of its inhabitants to the severe climatic and economic changes and conditions.

“The presences of the void” is an addition to this series with the intention of generating new landscapes and other ways of inhabiting.
