Arre has projected onto this plot the floor plan of one of the abandoned animal pens in the upper part of the village.

Arre walks through Blanca’s historic center, letting himself drift through its narrow streets, listening to what the abandoned architectures—and those waiting to rise again—have to say. The flow of inhabited spaces has descended throughout Blanca’s history, from the hilltop crowned by the Arab castle down to the riverbank. Arre establishes connections between what was left behind and what has yet to be built.

The line of a floor plan is always a first step, a projection; that line can rise and become the skin of a new habitat.
