Photo documentation of a work in progress
Two of the photos (the satellite photo of Parque De Las Cuevas and the one of a bench with the artist’s notebook on it) represent a project Frans is currently working on, and that will conclude in a text published on the artist’s website.
In Memory Allocation, the purpose of the artist is to charge a seemingly functionless space, a large, empty semi-circle of sand in Parque De Las Cuevas, Blanca, with personal memories by inviting ten acquaintances on ten consecutive days for a conversation on one of the ten benches on the outer edge of this peculiar space.
Watching waters flow
The third photo, the one of the artist standing at the side of the Segura River, represents a series of actions carried out in different locations during the artist’s travels, consisting of the artist standing for ten minutes in a frozen position, watching the flowing water.

Both sides of the bridge
In the shade the water flows towards the bridge, and
in the sunshine the water flows away from the bridge.
