Natural/Artificial
Conesa presents a plant composition on found pottery pieces creating a space of order, beauty and balance.
It is specifically the human being’s attempt to bring order to nature that interests him with this installation. Playing with elements such as composition and balance poses an internal question about our need to dominate the environment, even when we try to sublimate it.
The red earth that composes the ceramics as well as the flowers of the almond tree respond to harmony in their natural environment. We try to domesticate and reorganize with abstract criteria in which one does not know if it responds to an internal order or to cultural paradigms such as those that modulate taste.
