ROTA Festival – Residency period: November – December 2023
With a degree in Fine Arts, since 2013 she has focused her professional life on music. Le Parody is the alias under which Soledad composes, produces and performs; she has released three albums and performed more than a hundred live shows, both in Spain and abroad. Throughout her career she has collaborated, composed and produced a wide variety of projects: from an opera to the sound design of a film.
Soledad developed a sound work in dialogue with the landscape and expanded her work into an experiential format through a narrative that accompanies the listener along a passage through the mountainous landscape of Blanca. Her interest in folklore and electronics led her to participate in several meetings with the local folklore group La Capaza, who actively participated in the 6th edition of the ROTA Festival 2023.
