Nora’s ongoing project in Blanca depends on a series of processes in which she methodically collects, documents, catalogues, reproduces and relocates rocks founded on her daily walks. She achieves to create an uncanny impression by the process of doubling, displacing and presenting seemingly scientific but hollow data. Her playful process invites the audience to pay attention to the environment, though also takes into account the likeliness of being unknowingly overlooked.

Her process professed an absurdist implication. Themes present throughout her artwork include futility, fragility, materiality and irony.  She enjoys intersections between fine art and architecture, built and natural environments, and between design and neglect.
During this month’s open studio, Nora will present a projected map on which the original locations of the displaced rocks will be indicated, together with large scale photographs and a series of postcards. The latter are diptychs of some of the rocks laid out in a pseudo-scientific, catalogued fashion, imploring a futile analysis and comparison of the photos to be made.

During this month’s open studio, Nora will present the rock extracted from their environment, and  a photographic series of pictures of the rocks and their copy laid out in a pseudo-scientific way iof the original rock and their copy in their first and final placement..
