Paloma Vila explores, through play and experimentation, processes of internal transformation, the body as a home, and our outfits as skins that can express emotional traits.
The installation of intervened garments is the trace of a psycho-magical work, in which the printed materials and gestures function as symbols, as stations within a search, and as non-rational forms of learning.
Creation without constrictions can work as a way of working the spirit through sensitivity, at every step the materials speak to you and expose your inner landscape. Fears, desires, imagination, the need for belonging, spontaneity, play, honesty, and loss.. are emotions and transitions that transcend the individual experience.
