“If there is up and down, right and left, back and forth, there exists a place.
If there was something here that is now there, there exists a place.
If there is a body, there is a place.
If everybody is in its proper space, there exists a place. ”
Teresa is involved in the realization of quick drawings in printer paper, waxes, graphite, tracing paper, creating a material that gives no value. This process works to unlock, loose strokes that liberate hands and thoughts.
Faleiro tries to get rid of the figurative, to work with a free but intentional gesture, creating paths in the paper that on this occasion move into the three-dimensional space.
The absence of colour in her work serves to avoid distraction and to focus on the form.
The installation consists of waste materials as a process footprint, and the routes that have derived from her drawings.
