Cruce Programme: January 2022
I’m creating fantastical and dreamlike worlds where natural forces are in conversation with the human body. As a figurative sculptor, I’m involving for example water or light to interact with my sculptures to create a narrative hinting at the temporary and fragile state of existence. My installations are site-specific and absorb the sentiment of the surrounding, often paired with feelings of nostalgia and a sense of isolation.
Working with an improvisational and DIY approach, the process becomes very visible and part of the work.
