Úrsula studies the phenomenon of rhythm as a universal language, uniting representations of those bits in images, texts sound or movement.
Bravo questions how is that entity, the sound, that moves and pierce us along century and across all cultures. What happens in our brain that we surrender with no option to its rithms , what are its hand made of when it grabs our heart. During this period, Úrsula is experimenting ways of capturing the image of sound.
Through small artefacts that she composes herself, and fixating the image on photographic paper searches patterns that confirm that is possible to create a new pentagram base on its sounding body.
She tries to apprehend the nature of sound in an empirical way, visibilize it shape. Far from relying on the scientific explanations, Úrsula creates her own medium to make visible ist frequencies, a pataphysical approach that searches a common essence to all sounds, and a constant, whoever remote it is, that can explain its influence in the human being.
