One of the chicken coops adjacent to Centro Negra is opened—an abandoned space—with the intention of giving it new life.
But this clearing-out is not carried out randomly; it seeks to avoid violence and the idea of a blank slate. Víctor Colmenero enters the coop and undertakes a kind of surface archaeology, discovering and classifying the remains accumulated there over the years—traces of life, marks of time left on both natural and artificial elements. Once classified, he relocates and arranges them in Space 3 of Centro Negra, an open-air area where the constant struggle and overlap between nature and humans is evident.

Inspired by Mexican altars, where offerings are made to the deceased using everyday objects from their lives, the artist arranges the extracted elements in series—objects whose accumulated presence speaks to us of time and of life.
